Eight SPC baseball team members were name named All-Conference players in the Suncoast League!
1st Team All-Conference
Brett Wagner
Freshman, Third Baseman
Wagner played in all 47 games for the Titans, hitting .372 with 22 RBI and 12 doubles. His impressive freshman season included a 26-game hitting streak.
Kelsen Johnson
Freshman, Designated Hitter
Johnson joined the Titans this season and made a name for himself as the Titan DH. He hit .359, three home runs, and drove in 36 runs and scored 35. He also stole 20 bases.
Andrey Martinez
Freshman, Outfielder
Martinez, from Barranquilla, Colombia, had a monster year for the Titans. He led the team with a .414 batting average, hit 42 runs - 13 of them home runs - had an RBI of 62 and stole 14 bases.
2nd Team All-Conference
Marcus Sanders
Sophomore, Infielder
Sanders had a .288 batting average, stole 16 bases and scored 27 runs.
Logan Sanders
Sophomore, Outfielder
Sanders had a .324 batting average, scored 39 runs, three of them home runs, and lead the team in stolen bases with 24.
Nick Yedman
Sophomore, Catcher
Yedman had a batting average of .293. He scored 20 runs, one home run and 11 doubles. He was also the recipient of this year’s Titan Leadership Award.
Leo Bravo
Sophomore, Pitcher
In 22 innings pitched, Bravo had six saves, a 2.86 ERA and pitched 32 strikeouts.
