The St. Petersburg College Baseball team is gearing up for the 2024 season with a lot of changes on the horizon. With 12 returners, Coach Espada and his staff went out and recruited heavily to add to a team that found their stride towards the end of the season. In addition to the roster changes, the Florida College Systems Athletics Association (FCSAA) has restructured the conferences and SPC is now a member of the Citrus Conference along with 11 other JUCO's in the state. With this comes increased travel requirements and because of that, the Council of Athletic Affairs along with the FCSAA Executive Committee and the Council of Presidents, made the decision that all Citrus Conference series will be 3 games and consist of a single 9-inning game on Thursday and a double-header on Saturday with game 1 of the double-header being only 7 innings.
