Coach Oscar Espada enters his second season as SPC's Head Coach

SPC Baseball showing huge improvements in Coach Espada’s second season!

Coach Oscar Espada is entering his second season as head coach of the SPC Titans Baseball Program.  The turnaround from a challenging start to last season (0-9) to a strong 3-1 start this season has been impressive as the Titans skipper is finally able to field a team that he scouted and recruited to play at SPC.  SPC has shown the baseball community that they are a dangerous team, capable of beating any team in a variety of ways.

Particularly noteworthy, the offensive improvements have been head turning!  As a team, the Titans have a .322 batting average, a .432 slugging percentage, and have scored 98 runs in just 18 games.    Not only do the Titans have 8 players hitting over .300, but the individual performances of Colton Pizzio (.479), RJ Gutierrex (.407), and Carlos Sanchez (.400) have led the way as the Titans offense has remained consistent through the first quarter of the season.

SPC is headed to the College of Central Florida (Ocala) this weekend for a double-header against the CF Patriots.  Please check out the website for game times and updates!

With such promising momentum, it's an exciting time to be a Titans supporter. Go Titans!
