Softball Squad looking to build off 2022 success

SPC Softball Coach Bre Myers is looking to build off a successful 2021-2022 season that saw the Titans go 35-24 overall and 12-8 in a tough Suncoast Conference. Finishing eighth in the state was very impressive for a team that lost key starters to its pitching staff due to injuries. One of those injuries was to Pinellas Park High School grad Justice McCraine, whose early season injury kept her out of commission the entire year.  The Titans offense, led by sophomore Isabella Huff, had a .314 batting average and a on base percentage of .375.

With only eight players returning this season, the Titans will look to have major contributions from freshman players who had strong fall seasons. Kassidy Goodpaster, Kaylee Childers and Sidney Sackett will join McCranie as members of the pitching staff for 2023. A staff that will be working with an experienced catchers that include returner and second team All-Conference team returner, Sammy Wilson, who will also see some time at first base.
