Titans Prepare For Round 3 Vs SCF

Today is St. Petersburg College's employee appreciation day and you could only imagine how much Coach Graf and his Titans would appreciate a win today. The Titans (14-24) are experiencing 5 game losing streak and hope to put that to rest  later today when State College of Florida travels to SPC's home field. The Titans are facing the Manatees for third time this week. "Games like the other day happen to everybody at some point and it's just how good can we bounce back," said SPC Head Baseball Coach Jeremy Graf, "Offense needs to keep swinging it." The Titans have given up 42 runs in the previous 2 meetings and look to turn things around quickly. "Pitching needs to do a better job filling up the zone and finishing hitters and innings when we have the opportunity to do so," Graf said. Junior pitcher Channing Young will get the start tonight vs SCF in this game 3. "I think with Channing on the mound the guys will be ready to go tonight." Will Channing get the Titans back on track when he takes the mound? Will the Titans be able snap their 5 game losing streak against a tough Manatees squad? That is something we will have to wait and find out. First pitch for today's contest is set for 6pm at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater. General admission is always free at the ballpark.
