Today is the final series of the season for Coach Myers and her Titans as they travel to Polk State this afternoon. The Titans (32-22) have played their hearts out this season and look to do so again today. Through all the ups and downs this team continues to display fight no matter the outcome and carry a certain type of swagger. They take on an Eagles team (14-24) who are fighting for their season as well as they recently suffered a loss against State College of Florida last weekend getting shut out 7-0 by the Manatees. Meanwhile, for the Titans they too are coming off a game 2 loss to Hillsborough this past Tuesday night 3-0, resulting in SPC splitting their series with HCC after defeating them earlier in game 1, 7-1. The Titans have the better hand when it comes to their conference record (10-8) against Polk (5-10) as both teams want to have success here this afternoon at the diamond plex. First pitch for today's doubleheader is set for 4pm in Winter Haven with game 2 set for 6pm.
