St. Petersburg College's Kokoro Chishaki was named NJCAA Division I Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 21 - March 27.

Kokoro is an international student from Kashiwa, Japan posted a 2-0 singles record in flight three during the voting period. 

She helped the Lady Titans defeat Eastern Florida and Broward last week. 

Defeating Annaleigh Collins from Eastern Florida, 6-3 and 6-0 and Kiah Turner from Broward, winning 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (7).

Coach Phil Girardi had this to say about the "Coco" and the team, "It's been non-stop for a couple of months and tough just to get time to regroup. Very proud of the ladies this year not only for what they have done on court but how they handle themselves off the court and at practice as well."
