The St Petersburg College Women's Tennis Team placed third in the point standings at the NJCAA National Championships. Each of the Lady Titans garnered points towards the 33 point team total. We also won our first National Championship in the 10 year history Tennis at St. Petersburg College and the first National Title since the golf program in 1969!

Tournament Highlights:

• #1 Doubles - National Champions: Dokoro Chishaki and Anita Detlava - defeated ASA College's 3-6, 6-4, 6-2
• #2 Doubles - 2nd Place: Satomi Momose and Anastasha Worlds - lost to Tyler Junior College 6-2, 6-2 in the finals. 
• Singles: Kokoro Chishaki - Won semi-final match vs Montana Moore of #1 Tyler Junior College and #3 Singles before succumbing to Dugleizy Linarez of ASA College in an excruciating three set final.
• Singles: Anastasia Worlds - After a rough start at singles, won the back draw at #4 singles.
