Sophomore setter and team captain, Tayla Tran, was recently recognized for her efforts and skills with the title of DII FCSAA Setter of the week! In the games she has played thus far, she has averaged 10.9 assists over 11 sets. She further displayed her defensive skills with an average of 2.7 digs per game. She also has strong offensive abilities, as demonstrated by her average of 0.5 kills and 0.4 service aces. Tran posted 35 assists in the game against South Florida State College, 31 assists when playing against Indian River State, and 54 assists and 12 digs in the game against Palm Beach State.
Tran also poasted career high asissts vs. Palm Bech state with 54, and achieved 500 career asissts.
