In what was the home finale for the Titans of St. Petersburg College there was no better feeling than what took place on the court Wednesday night. On a night in which Coach Crumbley recognized and celebrated his 2 Sophomores JyriReese Yothers and Christopher Peterson, the Titans simply dominated and conquered Florida State College-Jacksonville 81-47. The Titans started on a fast note and made plays that made you jump out of your seat. The Titans (11-15) led by 13 points at halftime and never gave the Blue Wave any room to catch up. Freshman Guard Daquan Preston led the team in points on the night with 18 followed by Freshman Issac Brito with 13. Freshman guards Dakota Moore and Zane Nelson each had 11 pts as well as Freshman Forward Franck Yetna who also had 11. The Titans finished with a 8-8 home record and averaged through 26 games 67.3pts per game. The Titans will compete in their final 2 games on the road starting Saturday, February 19th at Santa Fe College and finish off the season at Eastern Florida State College.
