Title: Assistant Basketball Coach

Earnest Crumbley Jr. is entering his 16th season as a coach. Crumbley begin his coaching career at Admiral Farragut High School in St. Petersburg, Florida during the 2006-2007 season. After a year Crumbley moved on to the Division 1 level at University of North Florida as a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach from 2007-2009.  Some of Crumbley’s duties included player development, film exchange, travel and recruiting.

During the 2009-2010 season, Crumbley moved on to Redlands Community College as Assistant Men’s Basketball. In 2010-2011 season, Redlands CC captured the Region 2 Championship and participated in the Men’s Basketball Junior College National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. After three-year tenure as Assistant Coach, Crumbley was name Men’s Basketball Head Coach in 2012. During his five year tenure as Head Coach 2012-2017, Crumbley led Redlands CC to two Region 2 Regular Season and Tournament Championship Runner Ups in 2014(25-8) and 2015(24-9) while leading the Cougars to over 85 wins overall. At Redlands CC, Crumbley coached over a dozen All Conference Players and sent 12 players on to the Division 1 Level. During the 2017-2018 season, Crumbley joined his father’s staff at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, FL.

Earnest Crumbley Jr. is a native of St. Petersburg, FL and graduated from Lakewood High School. He went on to attend Florida Atlantic University and graduated as the school’s All Time Leader in both scoring and assists.
