Coach Myers announces Merchandise Availiability and Hot start to season

Head Coach Breanna Myers and the Lady Titans got off to a hot start on the diamond last weekend.  Myers and company earned four wins at the Eddie C Moore Complex in Clearwater. These wins-including a victory over ranked Santa Fe College -were led by freshman pitcher Shelby Jones and Faith Bruce.

The 2021 Lady Titans softball campaign wasted no time in producing memorable performances. Freshman Pitcher Faith Bruce started her career at SPC with a complete game shut out, striking out 10 and giving up only 1 hit against Florence-Darlington Tech. The weekend was not over for Bruce, who came into a bases loaded situation and getting out of it against Eastern Florida State. Faith Bruce earned her first career save in this game, clearing 2 innings pitched, 4 Ks and no hits.

Contributions from freshman did not end with Bruce, however. First year hurler Shelby Jones from Kissimmee, FL earned her first win as a Titan against a ranked Santa Fe College. Also throwing a complete game shutout and striking out four.

Coach Myers looks to maintain her program's more than solid start as the Titans enter a four game homestand in early February. Doubleheaders featuring St John's River ( Feb.9th) and Pasco Hernando ( Feb 16th) will be played at the Eddie C Moore complex followed by a doubleheader with Lake Sumter on Feb. 27th to complete the home slate for the month.
