Titans Get Back On Track Vs SCF

 After having their win streak snapped over the weekend in tournament play, the Titans of St. Petersburg College softball got back to their winning ways. The Titans (27-15) won their doubleheader matchup against State College of Florida on Tuesday afternoon. The Titans won game 1 by a score of 11-3 in a 6 inning game in which pitcher Lindsey Maresca earned her 11th win in the circle with a complete game giving up 2 earned runs and 1 unearned. Sophomore Madison Wells was 2-3 with 5 RBI, a grand slam and a stolen base. Freshman Kelsey Kadlub was 2-3 HR and a RBI. In Game 2 which saw SPC win yet again 7-1, pitcher Shelby Jones earned her 13th  win with a 7 inning complete game. Abbey Dickson was 2-3, Alyssa Rano was 2-4 and a double, and Bella Huff was 2-3, an RBI and a stolen base. Through 40 games the Titans have accounted for an amazing 238 runs and have a stellar home record of 18-4. The Titans are on the road tomorrow when they travel back to Ft. Myers to take on the Buccaneers of Florida Southwestern. The Titans next home game is Thursday, March 31st when they host those same Eagles who gave them their most recent loss. First pitch for game 1 of their doubleheader vs Polk is set 5pm at Eddie C Moore Complex in Clearwater. Admission is always free.
