In what was considered a back and forth affair the Lady Titans (7-14) secured a convincing win over the Saints of Santa Fe College 70-57. The Saints got off to a fast start but the Titans showed resiliency and kept the game close. By the time the second half came around the Titans surged in the 3rd period and never looked back. Sophomores Isis Triplett, Brittany Wilcox, and Megan Watson scored a combine 40 points with Wilcox having a game high of 7 steals. Freshman Aaliyah Reid and Sophomore Kyana Johnson contributed to a combine 15 rebounds in the game vs the Saints. The Lady Titans return to action on Saturday, Februay 5th when they take on Eastern Florida State in a Titans vs Titans showdown. Tipoff for the game is set for 2pm and will take place on place inside the gymnasium of the beautiful St. Petersburg College-Gibbs campus. Admission is free for all SPC students, faculty and staff. All general admission is $5.
