Baseball

Entering his second season at St. Petersburg College, Miguel "Bookie" Nunez received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from St. Thomas University, later returning to his alma mater as an assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator. He was also head coach of the softball team in 1997. He had many roles at Nova Southeastern University, including assistant softball coach, recruiting coordinator, and assistant baseball coach. Nunez served as coach and head recruiting coordinator At Florida Memorial, and he worked primarily with the outfielders as volunteer assistant coach at Barry University. He has been a loyal member of the American Baseball Coaches Association for 26 years now. 

Coach Nunez brings a wealth of experience to SPC, where he will be working with the outfielders and baserunning.
